Custom Stage 1 Performance Remap with Datalogging At Advanced Remaps, we offer two Stage 1 tuning options: a Standard Flash Map and a Custom Datalogged Remap. Our Custom Stage 1 Remap is our premium tuning option. It includes live datalogging and bespoke calibration, allowing the tune to be refined specifically for your vehicle rather than simply flashing a pre-developed file. Standard Flash Map vs Custom Datalogged Remap Standard Flash Map Our Standard Stage 1 Remap uses a professionally developed and proven tuning file that has been extensively tested on the same engine and ECU type. It delivers excellent gains in power, torque and drivability, making it the ideal option for most vehicles. Custom Datalogged Remap Our Custom Stage 1 Remap takes the process a step further. Before and after the initial calibration, we carry out live datalogging to record how your vehicle performs under real driving conditions. We monitor key engine parameters such as boost pressure, airflow, fuel delivery, ignition timing and other critical data. This information is then sent to our tuner, who uses the recorded data to adjust and refine the calibration specifically for your vehicle. The result is a bespoke map that’s optimised for your individual engine, driving characteristics and modifications, while remaining within safe operating limits. Some vehicles have locked ECUs which require bench/boot programming — if this is the case, there is an additional £80, and we will always confirm this with you before proceeding.
