Dodge Nitro Stage 1 Remap – 33HP & 80Nm Increase
We had this Dodge Nitro in with us at Advanced Remaps & DPF Cleaning for a Stage 1 remap, and the results were impressive.
The Dodge Nitro is a distinctive American SUV, combining its bold styling and rugged appearance with a strong diesel engine. While it already offers plenty of torque in standard form, a Stage 1 remap can unlock significantly more from the engine.
🚗 From 177HP to 210HP
Before tuning, this Dodge Nitro was producing a standard 177HP and 420Nm of torque.
After our Stage 1 remap, the figures increased to:
🔹 Standard: 177HP
🔹 Stage 1: 210HP
🔹 Gain: +33HP
And when it comes to torque:
🔹 Standard: 420Nm
🔹 Stage 1: 500Nm
🔹 Gain: +80Nm
That’s an impressive 19% increase in both power and torque.
💨 What does that mean on the road?
The additional torque is particularly noticeable in a vehicle like the Dodge Nitro. The extra 80Nm gives the engine a stronger and more responsive feel, particularly when accelerating, overtaking and pulling through the gears.
