Faulty DPF Pressure Sensor

This Renault Megane was presented to us in "limp-mode" with several error lights relating to DPF faults illuminated.

We carried out initial diagnostics while watching the vehicles live data and found that the exhaust differential pressure sensor was reading 0 when idling and reving, this isn’t right, We then confirmed the back pressure with a manual pressure check to confirm it was reading of 58 mbar at 2000 revs,

We replaced the sensor and then rechecked the live date and it was now working correctly,

We then went ahead with a deep DPF clean Using the patented 2 stage chemical solution we were able to clear the blockage on the vehicle which reduced the back pressure and brought the vehicle out of limp-mode, then we carried out a road test and allowed the vehicle to carry out a successful regeneration.

The vehicle is now out of limp mode, all lights extinguished and running as it should be.
